The optics of the Levenhuk Army 8x40 binoculars are based on full-size Porro prisms and deliver bright, saturated, and clear images. The high quality BaK-4 glass is fully multi-coated that improves the contrast and clarity of the image. You can focus not only on distant targets, but also on objects that are only 3 meters (10ft) away from you. The large embossed central focusing wheel adjusts the sharpness. Twist-up eyecups and diopter adjustment make it easy to adjust binoculars for your eyes.

The rugged metal body is waterproof and nitrogen-filled, and that prevents condensation. It has a standard thread for mounting on a tripod.
