MAGUS S-APO BD60 Plan S-Apo 5х/10х/20х/50х/100х BD H60mm Objective Set, for bright/dark fi

The objectives from the MAGUS S-APO BD60 set are designed to employ darkfield microscopy in reflected light on the MAGUS Pol 890 microscope. The objectives are placed in the revolving nosepiece instead of standard objectives, and the MAGUS BD90 darkfield module is installed in the turret of the reflected light illuminator.

The objectives are designed for both brightfield and darkfield observations. When a sample is illuminated by light through the objective, there are no shadow areas. Therefore, it is difficult to assess the surface topography using the brightfield technique. When the MAGUS BD90 darkfield module and a darkfield objective are introduced into the optical path, the sample is illuminated from the side by oblique light. This creates shadows at the grain boundaries, revealing the surface relief.

The objectives in the set are infinity plan semi-apochromatic and infinity plan apochromatic, which provide a higher degree of correction for chromatic and spherical aberrations than plan achromatic objectives. The image seen through the eyepieces and digital camera is cleaner and has greater contrast and brightness. Five objectives with magnifications of 5х, 10х, 20х, 50х, and 100х are included in the set. The parfocal distance is 60mm.
