The ZWO Seestar S30 is a compact, fully automatic smart telescope designed for astrophotography and nature observation. It is the successor to the Seestar S50 and features a GoTo system, built-in camera, and smartphone/tablet control via the ZWO Seestar app.

Product description

The Seestar S30 features a new Sony IMX662 color sensor with a 6.45 mm diagonal and high sensitivity. Its apochromatic triplet optical system provides sharp images with excellent chromatic aberration control.

Thanks to its wide field of view and mosaic mode, large deep-sky objects such as the North America Nebula (NGC 7000) and Andromeda Galaxy (M31) can be captured within a single frame.

The system automatically calibrates and aligns using built-in sensors, star charts, and smartphone GPS. It is designed for ease of use without requiring astronomy experience.

Auto-focus ensures consistently sharp images for both astrophotography and landscape imaging. Built-in image processing reduces noise while preserving fine details, even in light-polluted areas.

The “Tonight”s Best” feature allows quick object selection, after which the telescope automatically aligns and tracks the target.

The device includes three built-in filters: UV/IR-cut, dual-band filter for nebula contrast enhancement, and a dark calibration filter.

A magnetic solar filter is included for safe solar observation and imaging.
