Product description

Vespera II is the next evolution of Vaonis smart telescopes, designed to simplify astronomical observation and astrophotography through fully automated operation. The system allows users to observe and capture galaxies, nebulae, star clusters, and other celestial objects with minimal setup and a single tap in the Singularity app.

The upgraded Sony IMX585 sensor delivers significantly higher image quality and improved sensitivity for low-light imaging. Combined with CovalENS technology, Vespera II can create high-resolution mosaic images by stitching multiple sky regions together, enabling wide-field captures of large celestial objects such as the Andromeda Galaxy and North America Nebula.

Automatic initialization uses smartphone GPS, plate solving, and astrometry to calibrate the system in less than 5 minutes. The integrated Go-To system automatically aligns and tracks celestial objects while compensating for Earth”s rotation using stepper motors and an onboard computer.

The optical system features a 50mm quadruplet apochromatic refractor with two groups of Lanthanum glass lenses made from S-FPL52 glass. This design minimizes distortion, chromatic aberration, and astigmatism while maintaining high optical precision.

The Singularity app provides telescope control, object catalogs, educational content, personalized observation recommendations, and astronomy guidance. LumENS AI support allows users to ask astronomy-related questions by voice or keyboard and receive real-time information about observed celestial objects.

Please note: this version of the Vespera II is supplied without a tripod. A compatible 3/8" photo tripod can be used separately.
