This book is designed as a tourist guide, which invites the reader to go on a thought journey not only around the Sun, but to the edge of the universe and get acquainted with the constellations, the planets of the solar system, the biggest stars, black holes, distant galaxies and other miraculous and unusual objects of the universe. It really is a free trip, because the "treasures" of the starry sky can be seen by everyone, they are not in a private collection or behind closed doors. The basis of the book is a review of the 20 best-visible constellations in Latvia, which describes the brightest stars and most significant celestial objects, tells tales about the emergence of the constellations, and gives recommendations for making observations. In between, it is possible to go on 10 routes that will allow you to visit planets outside the solar system, take you to the center of the Milky Way galaxy and many other places. Large images of cosmic objects with annotations are placed every few pages. Historical digressions will help to understand how astronomers managed to explore the vast universe. The unanswered questions of science, such as the mysterious dark energy and life beyond Earth, have also not been avoided.
