MAGUS LF5 Color Filter Set (BF, GF, YF, FF, LBD)

Microscope filters are used for visual observations and capture using a digital camera. The MAGUS LF5 set includes blue, green, and yellow color filters, a matte filter, and a daylight filter.

The blue, green, and yellow color filters help improve the color balance of the image, increase contrast and brightness, and smooth out optical distortions. Depending on the color, the filter blocks a certain wavelength of light while allowing other wavelengths to pass through. The matte color filter is used to obtain diffused lighting. The daylight color filter is required for color correction when a microscope with a halogen light source is used. The light of a halogen lamp is "warm" so that the color filter shifts the spectrum from the yellow range to the daylight range, which is more comfortable for the eyes.

The filters in the MAGUS LF5 set are designed for reflected light observations.
