Leica HD-R 2700 model allow linear distance determination of up to 2,700 yards (2,450 meters), offer a worldwide unique combination of precise measuring, optical quality and ergonomic design. Optically, the Geovid utilizes Leica's Perger-Porro prism optical design that yields the compact form factor of a roof prism with the rich depth of field and interference-free light path of a traditional Porro prism. The ballistic measurement value is available in equivalent horizontal range (EHR). Barometric pressure, temperature and angle are also included in the measurements and calculate the correct point of aim with the highest precision. Next to the enhanced distance determination for long distances, model feature a newly designed LED display, allowing excellent readability of the measured data under any light and weather conditions.
