The APM 152/1200 Apochromat is a very powerful 6" refractor.

It features a doublet optic with OHARA FPL 51 ED glass. The other lens is made of lanthanum. This combination results in optical performance well above what is usual in this price category. In order to guarantee the high quality typical of APM telescopes, each optic undergoes an interferometric test at 532nm (green) before shipment.

This apo is an impressive all-rounder. Visual observation of deep sky objects is also fun with the obstruction-free optics with a 6-inch aperture. The focal length of 1200 millimeters, in combination with the razor-sharp image, leads to high contrasts in narrow double star systems and a great deal of detail in planetary observations.

Of course, with such a high-quality apophoto you will primarily take photos: the focuser with 1:10 reduction remains stable even under high loads and is therefore ideal for photography.

The attention to detail can also be found in the included 2" to 1.25" eyepiece adapter, which has a completely new design that clamps the eyepiece evenly and therefore works much better than conventional adapters with a simple brass clamping ring and screw.

The telescope comes in a sturdy aluminum case.
