BRESSER Messier 6" Dobsonian Telescope with Parabolic Mirror and Solar Filter
Discover the wonders of the night sky and safely observe the Sun with the BRESSER Messier 6" Dobsonian telescope, available at SkyHunters. This compact, high-performance Newtonian reflector is an excellent choice for beginners and experienced amateur astronomers alike, offering remarkable versatility for travel, quick setup, and breathtaking observations.
Key Advantages
- Parabolic Primary Mirror: Features diffraction-limited optics (Strehl >0.8) for significantly better sharpness and contrast compared to standard spherical mirrors.
- Solar Filter Included: Comes with a high-quality aperture solar filter for the safe observation of sunspots, solar eclipses, and planetary transits.
- Compact & Travel-Friendly: Pre-assembled ex-factory and designed for quick deployment. Simply place it on a sturdy table, and you are ready to observe in minutes.
- Large Secondary Mirror: The 55mm secondary mirror ensures optimal illumination across the entire image field.
- Versatile Optical Tube: The tube can be easily balanced within its rings or removed entirely from the Dobsonian base to be mounted on an equatorial mount using the included GP dovetail adapter.
Product Description
The BRESSER Messier 6" Dobsonian is a breakthrough instrument. Despite its accessible price point, it offers versatility and quality that rival much more expensive telescopes. The main focus of this design is quick setup and ease of use. An inbuilt compass and circular level help speed up the telescope's orientation.
With an optical diameter of 150mm (6"), your observations are not limited to the Moon and planets. You can reach further into deep space to explore globular and open star clusters, nebulae, and galaxies. The light-gathering power of this rich-field telescope makes finding and observing objects much easier. Additionally, the large 2.0" rack and pinion focuser allows the use of wide-field 2.0" eyepieces. A 2" to 1.25" adapter is included, ensuring compatibility with all standard 1.25" accessories.
Please note: Newtonian reflector telescopes are excellent for astronomical observation of the night sky, but they are not well suited for daytime landscape and nature observation. We recommend refractor (lens) telescopes for terrestrial viewing.
