High-quality 4-element optical design

The StarSense Autoguider features a high-quality 4-element optical design developed by renowned optical designer Mark Ackermann. Its unique design provides sharper images than other mini-guidescopes. The optical tube is threaded to accommodate 2-inch astronomical filters. Add an IR-pass filter for aligning your mount during twilight or a neutral density filter to focus during the day.

The device also includes a built-in computer and a highly sensitive Sony IMX290-DLL monochrome CMOS image sensor, which together provide excellent guiding accuracy. You can, if desired, view the camera's live image through your computer.
