It features automatic GoTo capabilities that track celestial objects precisely across the night sky. Built with 2” diameter steel legs, the robust tripod provides an extra-wide stance for superior stability.
• High-Performance 150mm (6") Refractor Optics: With a 1200mm focal length and an f/8 focal ratio, this large refractor lens provides sharp, unobstructed views with high contrast, treated with Fully Multi-Coated (FMC) optics to maximize light transmission.
• Innovative Dual Saddle Plate: Integrated with an updated dual saddle plate that accepts both narrow CG-5 (Vixen-style 100mm or longer) and wider CGE-style dovetails. Swapping between setups is simple by adjusting the hand knobs into different mounting holes (not compatible with Losmandy D plates).
• Observatory-Class Software Suite: Includes a free download of Celestron PWI (CPWI) Telescope Control Software, co-developed with PlaneWave Instruments, featuring a graphical planetarium interface and PointXP advanced mount modeling (100+ points).
