Its deep black surface reflects the tranquil atmosphere of those magical moments before day turns to darkness. The gold screen-printed design captures two of the most iconic features of a total solar eclipse: Baily”s beads and the diamond ring. The fleeting, unforgettable moment immediately before totality has been immortalised in gold on the instruments” surface, symbolically preserving the sun”s final glimmer of light before totality begins.
